Dear Parent Guardians,

It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself to you, Michelle Relova, as the Principal of École Hank Grenda Middle School (HMS).  I have been an educator within Central Okanagan Public Schools for the past 15 years, serving communities from West Kelowna to Lake Country. It has been my privilege to work as a classroom teacher, a member of our district's Instructional Leadership Team,  a Vice-Principal at both Davidson Road Elementary School and George Elliot Secondary School, and as a Principal at Ellison Elementary School. 

I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to open the new middle school in Lake Country.  Together, we will design an inclusive learning community with a shared purpose and vision where each child thrives holistically.  We will seek to understand each child's hopes and dreams for the all day, every day experience to ensure they leave us with dignity, purpose, and options.  

The Lake Country community holds a special spot in my heart!  I look forward to reconnecting with families that I have worked and learned alongside before and connecting with the families I have yet to have had the privilege of meeting!  Together we will build an amazing school that will support the students of Lake Country.
